OUR VALUES

Jesus

We believe that prayer, devotion, and commitment to Jesus Christ and His Kingdom are essential for every  believer. Mark 12:30, Luke 9:23, Matthew 6:33

Gospel

We believe the Lord loves and desires all people to be reconciled to Himself. We are not ashamed of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and we desire all to be saved.   Romans 1:16, I Timothy  2:4

Bible

We believe the Bible is the inspired word of God and is without error. The Body of Christ should be culturally relevant, understanding the times, yet uncompromising in Biblical Doctrine. We believe that anointed Biblical teaching is the catalyst for transforming the lives of  disciples who will make disciples. II Timothy 3:14-17, Hebrews 4:12, I Chronicles 12:32 , I Corinthians 2:6-8,  Romans 12:1-2

 Family

We believe the family should study, pray and worship at home as a family as well as participate in corporate  services together. Deuteronomy 6:4-9, Joshua 24:14-15, Nehemiah 8:1-8, Acts 2:41-47

 Commitment

We believe that committed, loving relationships should permeate every aspect of the Body of Christ. Our love for one another is a witness to the world that we are followers of Jesus. Ephesians 4:1-6, John 13:34-35, I Peter 1:22

Servants

We believe that the local Body of Believers should  operate as a unified community of servants with men and women being biblical stewards of their time, talents, resources, and money. I Peter 4:77-11, II Corinthians 9:6-7,  Philippians 2:3-8, John 13:13-18

Simple

We believe that the Body of Christ should be healthy and vibrant but not filled with much busyness. We focus on the Lord and living the transformed life. We will  keep our focus on relationships and making committed followers of Jesus Christ. We focus on people not programs. John 15:4:5, Ephesians 5:15-16, Psalm 63 :5-8

 Intentional

We believe that the Lord is very intentional in everything He does. We will have intentionality and purpose in everything we do as a church. We are intentional in keeping our focus on our mission.  Ephesians 5:14-16,  Colossians 4:2-5

Incarnational

We believe that the church should be on the front lines in the battle for the innocent, marginalized, and oppressed. Jesus not only brought salvation, but he reached out to the poor and the outcast, to the untouchable and unwanted. He had compassion for all. Matthew 25:31-46, I John 3:17-18

Multiplication

We believe every church body should be a sending church with a strong focus on discipleship, leadership training, missions, and church planting. We make disciples who will make disciples and we plant churches that will plant churches. Acts 1:8, Acts 13:1-4, II Timothy 2:2
